Company 5 along with Company 2 (Hampden Sydney) were dispatched for a Residential Structure Fire with reports of smoke coming from the eaves of the residence. Upon arrival units encountered fire coming from the roof of the residence with the attic area completely engulfed in flames. Squad 5's crew began an interior attack on the "A" side of the structure, while the Crew from Engine 2-2 deployed a second attack line on the "B" side of the structure. Command requested that a 3rd company be added to the assignment and also resquested Tankers from the 3rd and 4th due Companies. Water shuttle operations began. The fire was brought under control and extinguished with heavy fire damage to the entire residence.
